Terms of service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of Dashboard, a B2B intelligence product operated by Dashboard Lda., a company registered in Portugal (the "service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the service you agree to these terms.
Dashboard is a workspace for funding, market and regulatory intelligence. It is not legal, financial or investment advice; you remain responsible for the decisions you make on the back of what we show you.
2. Account terms
You must be at least 18 and authorised to bind the organisation you sign up on behalf of. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, for activity that happens under your account, and for telling us promptly if you suspect a credential has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, that is used to abuse the service, or that we are required to suspend by law. We will tell you before we do, unless the reason is illegal activity.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, in euros, via Stripe. The current plans and prices are on the /pricing page; we will give you at least 30 days notice of any change to the price of your plan.
You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from workspace settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not refund partial months. EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a paid plan — see our refund policy for the procedure.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to violate any law, to scrape or re-sell our data, to attempt to access other customers’ workspaces, or to use the service in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it. Automated clients must respect the rate limits documented in our API reference; abusive clients will be throttled or blocked.
We share our data with you under the licence in section 5, not as a sale. Reselling the data, training a competing model on it, or redistributing large parts of it outside your own organisation is not covered by that licence.
5. Intellectual property
We own the service and the technology that runs it. You own the data you put into the service (your company profile, your notes, your saved items). We retain ownership of the aggregated, derived signals we produce, but we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them inside your workspace.
You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit the data you put into the service, for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the data or close your account.
6. Termination
You can close your account at any time from workspace settings. We will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records). Aggregated, anonymised analytics may persist.
We can terminate the service for everyone on 60 days notice, in which case unused prepaid fees are refunded pro-rata. We can terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these terms or use the service illegally.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data it surfaces is complete or fit for any particular decision. The information Dashboard shows comes from third-party sources; we cannot guarantee they are correct.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury).
If you are a consumer in the EU, this section does not affect the statutory warranty rights you have under your national consumer law.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Lisbon have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute, except that consumers can bring an action in the courts of their place of residence.
Questions about these terms go to /contact. We try to answer within two business days.
