Fill funding forms from your profile — and never submit one
A companion for Chrome that reads the application form you are looking at, fills the fields it recognises from your institution’s profile in Dashboard, and asks you in a side panel when your profile does not have the answer. Submitting is always yours to do.

What it does
Fills what your profile already knows
Open a funding application form while signed in to Dashboard and the extension fills every field it can match to your institution’s profile — the funding details your team keeps up to date once, instead of retyping them for every call.
Asks when the profile does not know
When a field has no answer in your profile, a side panel asks you for it, one question at a time. The questions are prepared by Dashboard, so you get the same prompts whichever portal you are working in.
Never submits
The extension writes values into the form and stops there. Sending the application is always an explicit action you take yourself.
How to install it
Chrome only installs extensions from the Web Store — until we publish there, you load this one yourself. It takes about a minute:
01
Download the ZIP
Use the download button above. You get a single file named dashboard-extension.zip.
02
Unzip it somewhere permanent
Extract the archive to a folder you will keep, for example Documents/dashboard-extension. Chrome loads the folder, not the .zip file.
03
Open the extensions page
In Chrome, type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.
04
Turn on Developer mode
Use the Developer mode toggle in the top-right corner of that page. It stays on until you turn it off.
05
Load unpacked
Click “Load unpacked” and select the folder you extracted — the one that contains manifest.json.
06
Pin it and get to work
Pin the extension to your toolbar, sign in to Dashboard, and open a funding application form. The extension only acts on forms you open yourself.
What it promises
Your session is the only login
The extension talks to Dashboard over the session you already have. No second password, no separate account, and it only reads the profile it needs to fill the form in front of you.
The page sets the limits
Character limits, visible help text and the counters on screen are the only limits it respects. It never invents a value the form would reject and never works around the portal’s own rules.
Learning remembers shapes, not answers
As it learns a portal’s layout, only the structure of the form is kept — never what you typed, never who typed it, never how often.
Built to be checked, not trusted
Two independent automated checks run on every change: the extension cannot call a submit at all, and a complete test fill must produce no submit request to the portal. If either check fails, the change does not ship.
Validated on the portals you use
We call it done only once it works on three to five real portals built with different technologies — not on a demo page we wrote ourselves.
